Bumpdate: 13 weeks

How far along:  13 weeks today!

Size of baby: Baby is the size of a peach, or a matchbox car.
Gender: We had the blood drawn last Friday for the genetic testing.  When they call with that, they will put the gender in an envelope at the desk so TJ’s sister, Kendall can go by and pick it up.  And, we will all find out on February 26th! I am so excited!
Exciting developmental things:  Baby Butler has fingerprints now!
Doctor’s Appointments: We had the appointment with the ultrasound then two weeks later did the bloodwork for all the genetic testing.

Weight Gain:  As of last Friday, I had gained right at 5 pounds.
Stretch Marks:  None so far, and I pray it stays that way.  I’ve been using lotion, but not religiously.
Movement:  Baby started moving this week, and we are getting so close to me being able to feel it.
How I’m Feeling: I feel great actually.  I’m getting some energy back slowly, right in time for tax season.  How exciting!
Miss Anything?:  Truly, I miss Subway.  I really didn’t eat it all that much, but when you can’t have it you truly miss it.
Sleep:  I love sleep.  I sleep wonderfully and usually get about 10 hours of sleep a night.
Food:  Food is still great. I just have no desire to eat a whole lot of pork.
Workouts:  Still working on trying to figure out the best workouts for pregnancy.  I can’t wait till it gets warmer.
Clothes: Still fitting in most of my work clothes thankfully.  My jeans quit fitting weeks ago.
Baby Items:  We still haven’t bought a thing.  It’s hard for me to buy anything without knowing the gender.  I can’t wait to find out!
Best Moment This Week: We’re loving pregnancy. And most of the time I don’t feel like I am pregnant except when I remember I can’t drink alcohol or eat lunch meat.  It’s also hard to count my fish intake.  I’m used to eating lots of seafood.  Having to remember how often I have had it in a week is difficult.
Looking Forward To:  I can’t wait to get the call that says baby is healthy and that someone knows the gender of our sweet thing.  I feel like it’s a girl but would be happy with anything.
It’s been a while since I’ve posted an update, but nothing has really changed. I feel great, baby’s doing great, and we’re growing nicely.
